What is ARTtractions?
ARTtractions is an exciting calendar of events curated by Palazzo Rinaldi and involving its Resident Artists. It has been developed in order to promote interaction between Palazzo Rinaldi's residents and the local community and it runs every summer parallel to the residency dates. ARTtractions features end-of-residency exhibitions, performances, workshops, talks, screenings and much more. Curated by Palazzo Rinaldi in collaboration with the Artists involved, ARTtractions is run exclusively on a voluntary basis. All events are free and open to the public.
First Edition, 2009
2009 has seen the first edition of ARTtractions take to the streets of Noepoli, featuring nine fascinating and diverse events that ranged from open air workshops to dance performances. A yearbook-style publication is currently being produced to present the events and the artists who took part. A big thank you for the logistical support for the 2009 season to the Noepoli town hall and the Pro Loco Antica Noja.

How to get involved
We are now accepting proposals for art events for the second edition of ARTtractions, to run in summer 2010. If you are applying for a Residency at Palazzo Rinaldi and would like to get involved, please fill in the relevant section in the application form with your proposal. Remember the following: to be considered for inclusion, the proposed event MUST a) be centered around and feature the work completed by the Artist while in Residency at Palazzo Rinaldi; b) have a strong interactive component; and c) be suitable for an audience not normally exposed to contemporary art. Please also indicate any materials and logistical support required.
Why should I take part?
Presenting an event as part of ARTtractions is a fun, creative and rewarding way to get to know the local community and introudicing yourself through your creative work. It also represents a great Cv-building experience. Biogs of all Resident artists who take part will also feature in our yearly printed publication alongside photos of the ARTtractions presented.
We look forward to presenting your work to Noepoli this summer!
