‘Un vero gioiello, dove si respira il gusto del passato, la passione per l’arte, il piacere di essere circondati da una corolla di monti mentre lo sguardo si perde all’orizzonte, semplicemente, nel silenzio e nel leggerissimo fluire dell’otium’. ‘A real jewel, where one can enjoy a real sense of the past, a passion of art, the pleasure to be enclosed in a corolla of mountains as the gaze ventures out to the horizon: simply, in silence, transported by the featherlight flow of idleness.’

‘Across the valley I am incredulous at the sight of Noepoli, so I rub my eyes and look again, but there it remains. A beatific vision of history, tradition, an organic human expression of millennia layered up and over this mountain top. (...) From my street level atelier, I hear the unwavering sounds of Noepoli - the tempo of life unchanged for centuries.’
- Amy Guion Clay, Author, ‘The Far Shores of Being’ , AIR 2009
‘My deepest gratitude for this sacred place: a sense of it being a spiritual centre for all kinds of magical artistic experiences...wonderful.’ - Anne Lillis aka Rose Lawless, Cabaret Artiste, Ireland, AIR 2010
‘I’m lucky to have been here, to have been welcomed so warmly and to have entered into this extraordinary place. I feel changed for having been here and I’m grateful. I’ll be back soon, I hope.” - Alexander Maksik, Author, You Deserve Nothing, AIR 2008
“You gave us warmth and welcome, graciousness, fascinating stories, and delicious, nourishing food! And beauty, and peace. I will never forget the view from your terrace, the writers watching over me with their benign smiles, and your cheerful, kind faces making sure we were all right. I rewrote an entire draft of my novel here, infusing it with fresh language and imagery that came to be because of the beauty and history of this glorious place. Many, many thanks.”
-Helen Benedict, Author (‘Sand Queen’, ‘The Edge of Eden’, ‘The Lonely Soldier’), Palazzo Rinaldi AIR 2012
